Design Cohort
The NEW CANON Learning Lab serves district level academic teams that have made commitments to racial equity with implications for the curriculum. Teams work together in a cohort model that build their capacity, generates new supplemental & modular materials and connects them to an ongoing community of practice.
The NEW CANON Learning Lab is a collaboration between CommonGood and The Social Studies Accelerator powered by EdLoc.

A collection of materials are constructed to meet your unique requirements, generating materials to be hosted in your system (LMS). We are eager to partner with educators to build teams' capacity to iterate, improve, and sustain their work.
We offer adult learning experiences on topics like inquiry, culturally sustaining curriculum, civic engagement, and program design. Participants gain skills in interpreting and applying theory, building community around new approaches, and gathering data to inform ongoing iteration.
